Hotels In Rome Italy Can Be A Bit Impersonal

Author: When some people think of renting an apartment for holiday vacation instead of the usual hotels in Rome Italy, they may envision a multi apartment building with 2,4 even 12 apartments on various floors. However in many places, especially when substituting an apartment for a hoteles en Milan or Roma, the apartment is the only one in a large single home.
Many times these are add-on residences other times they are just a separate or second apartment in a two apartment building. Most times the owners occupy the larger or main apartment, and rent out the other apartment like it was a hotel room for economic reasons or just as a side business venture.
Some bed and breakfasts are actually this way as well. For some, this could be unnerving as it was not what they expected. Others see this as a quaint and friendly way to spend a visit to an Italian city. Numerous times, people who stay in one of these intimate home settings, end up becoming good friends with the inn keeper and come back year after year to a personally welcoming environment. This is true of many who honeymoon at a B&B or similar establishment. The food you will experience at many of these apartment venues will be closer to real Italian home cooking than any restaurant could hope to provide.
